XIAO - The Sequel

XIAO - The Sequel

A Poem by Lepadah

the little child with no name
sits on a wooden chair
lost and disconnected
outside of himself there is no comprehensive conversation
a relic
difficult
sweet treats are given daily
discipline mishandled by a granny
who always changing faces
who sits picking fingers to bleed
caught in her own world of woe
unfolding dirty doilies
reliving her own ugly sins
bible pressed against her breast
asking God why
doing her best
there is no rest
to sooth spirits
devil's tattooed
ramshackle thoughts of a beautiful mind
sketches of new york city train map
done by the little child
sitting on the wooden chair
with no name
