7 AM

earthquake dream

 

It is 7:00 AM,

I am wide awake.

I lay in bed.

There was an earthquake.

I heard booms,

and crashes.

The kitchen bowls break.

And now I am scared,

I lay in bed,

still awake.

Not sure what to do,

should I check on the house.

I am scared to go out.

Just scared like a mouse.

But I build up the courage,

to go out and check.

Little did I know,

it was all in my head.
