How many times do you smile

while crying?

How many times do you say "I'm fine"

while you're really not?

How many times do you

bundle up all your emotions,

just to get through another horrible day?

 

How many tears have you shed

for that guy who will never notice you?

How many tears have fallen from your beautiful face

for being called something you're not?

How many tears have landed on your fluffy pillow

for all the sleepless nights

you lie awake realizing what your life has turned into?

 

How would you feel

if I told you that you are beautiful?

What would you say

if I told you that you are beautiful?

What would you do

if I told you that you are beautiful?

 

Just let me say one thing,

that everyone should hear,

every second of every day,

just let me say that

you ARE Beautiful. <3

This is very sweet, it's true that we all need to hear it much more often than most of us do, and yet if you notice it's very hard for people to accept the compliment once it's given. We feel so undeserving or almost conceited accepting such praise, so sometimes I tell people, "you're beautiful and it's okay!"
