Smile, Baby

Smile, Baby

A Poem by Alexis

What a beautiful smile,

she had,

and how good it felt for her to.

Finally,

had she figured out

that trying to fit in

wasn't the best thing.

She understood

that she must

accept her flaws,

for what they are,

and to love herself.

Though,

She has.

She had tried

so hard to be perfect,

and to be like everyone else,

when she should have just been herself.

Now,

she realized that.

And on the inside,

she can feel so much better.
