![]() Plastic CoverA Poem by Faith Almazan![]() Divorce wrote when I was 13![]()
All of our memories,
Put under cover. You smiled like it was fine That we were leaving with our Mother. Was I really that bad of a daughter? Why couldn't you love me enough to stay? What happened to our family? Your stocking is missed every Christmas Day. You left us for your new life. You didn't want us to be your kids. This wasn't fair, we had it perfect. Now I only see you on weekends. THINK ABOUT IT: Is it fair to see you and Mom fight? Is it fair to hear you both screaming at night? Do you think it's fun for me to reassure Hope That you still love us, even though I think you don't? I loved you. You should've stayed Dad. Now you've missed me. I'm all grown up. It hurts to even say this but, I needed you growing up. © 2014 Faith AlmazanFeatured Review
