The Night Sky

The scene of the night sky riddled with stars,The deep inner wound that sealed up to a scar,The thoughtless demands of the world come out foul,The visions of one standing out in a crowd.The lions face proud,The lizards won't scowl,The dogs always bite,and the wolves always howl,Doesn't anybody in this world feel to proud,Isn't anybody in this life falling down,Is there any pain inside me,Is there any fame behing me,Did i walk into a room and find there was nobody there,Did i feel alone and scared,Did i welcome death in there,Did i cry out loud or did i scream,No glances,only stares,I must have been aware,The thoughts that i had there,There must have been a cracking sound,A wizard in despair,Searching for a prayer.

[Poetic Beauty]

I like this poem. I love the meaning behind it. I think it maybe a little easier to read and help the flow if you broke it up into stanzas but stanzas aren't for everyone. It is a thought provoking poem making you take a deeper look at the world around you and people around you

there is a cunning flow in words that sit on top of one another . . . I didn't notice the rhyme first time through. That's always a good sign.
