Cost of living increases

Cost of living increases

A Poem by Donald Meikle

Never do today what you can put off till tomorrow
someday you'll wake up dead
with roots above your head
and remember what I said
Sit back and enjoy today today
If there's a thing you really have to do
Put yourself ahead of what's ahead
Weigh regret you have not yet
and do it if you feel forgiving
It's only saving time to spend
value gained that in the end
is just the cost of living
If you must do it then do it
So well they'll believe it was
a work of love
Use care.........they may be right
