Costs

Costs

A Poem by Donald Meikle
"

limerick

"
There once was a poetic druid,
Who chanted in meter quite fluid.
But what was quite sad,
And really too bad,
Was his wording cost elinguid.

Hm this is limerick about poets... I enjoyed it though I have to ask you what is elinguid..I didn't find the meaning. This is totally difficult to write in this 5 lines and offer a deep humor. fantastic you wrote this.
Thank you also for your kindness to read and comment on my poem Hearts Of Gold. Much appreciated. Be well. L Gandr
