Rambling On

Rambling On

Ethereality with untouchable unseen friends going about their daily lives. Pausing whenever possible to create word pictures, or to immerse themselves in another's work, for the simple clear joy of life. Thoughts and feelings are open for review, as souls are bared and held in the lights like a deer at night. One such friend brought me to this site, from another where we had exchanged soul sightings. Others have met me , and I them through the same review swap system. Timorous am I on reading some works I cannot possibly reach to master. But suddenly the creator of this work will try to convince me I am better than she, thus raising my self esteem and obviously bettering my life and abilities. We will share parts of our lives that have helped to form us, and I for one am openly astonished at the intellectual and artistic abilities of a teenager, who is one of those that can discern my smoke and mirror methods of word-painting. This internet transcends normality and leaves me in awe of what the world will be like ten years from now. Glad am I to have found a world of like minded people.

It will be a challenge indeed to write a poem from this ramble in my bramble mind

A ramble most certainly Donald, a poem doubtful You know my prejudices But as a pice of writing most intriguing to read. The abilties of poets have little to do with age I remmenber a girls of thirteen posting on another site whose writing was unvelievably mature So much so I thought she was lying abouther age.She still wrires on the same site I have watched her go through the uncertainties and angst of teen age years
Which for a while rendered her work almost unreadable at times. She still writes as though she had lived a ripe and full life instead of being on the threshhold as it were of adult life

Your poem is just what I wasa seeking, you told me what it was like to be a friend on the cafe, sharing thoughts, reading each others works praising and insipring each other in their writing. Thanks so much for entering my contest.

I think you have the right stuff here. There is a contest for someone to describe a friend
on writerscafe and this should be entered. One thing I would do is just go with line breaks.

It comes across as random thoughts and reading it as a paragraph doesn't give the chance for
each one to sink in. In many ways you define the relationships we have at sites like this
I love the idea of "soul sighting", that's wonderful. thanks for sharing
