Freedom for thinking

Freedom for thinking

A Poem by Linda alexander

Let me think myself
Let me guide myself
Let me grow my own feet
Let me sit by the lake peacefully

I have gotten to the age where my own feet have grown and I can stand on them without worrying how I walk, how I look or what I write.
The lake is glassy now, so calm.

Yes. I have definitely felt this before. Sometimes you don't need someone else's guidance, just the opportunity to try and figure things out for yourself.
