Internet romance gone bad

What do you do when you feel like you will never smile again?

I am feeling the pain now, in the heart.

I pray my misery ends soon.

We were never together so how can we part?

I am empty over someone I never had.

I am lost because he filled my thoughts. Now my focus point is gone.

Wandering around lost over the battle I fought.

But it's still just me, like it has always been. Just me.

This will be a new story one for me because I built him up so high.

I placed him before God and now he is gone.

When I go to try reasoning, all I can do is sigh.

How do I not love me?

Our love was real, our love was strong but there was a kink in our weak chain and it broke.

It was communication , just like a married couple it stopped.

Damn my heart is breaking.

Meeting someone online is always a risk. There are so many questions that need to be answered before one should feel comfortable. So many are looking for love and, when we think we are in love, we get that giddy feeling and it feels good. In order to truly love some else one must love themselves first. Difficult for some to do but, taking care of yourself should be a priority. It's also a way of looking out for yourself. You're no good to anyone else if you aren't good to yourself first. Those internet affairs are useless I've discovered. You're not within each others presense so they can say anything knowing nothing will ever come of it. One party usually just want to get their jollies (if that was the case) and the other wants a connection that will probably never last. Such is internet life.

Sorry I have not been around lately my friend. I have been suffering from sciatica nerve damage again. I am sure that I probably misspelled the word but in other words I have been in horrific pain. I am having a procedure done this coming Wednesday to hopefully correct the issue. This will be the second one I have had to do. I don’t know what made me think the first shot would last FOREVER!. It didn't. It only lasts about three months. Yes, the doctor will take about an eight inch needle and go in through the very low right side of the back and maneuver it down to where the hip bone meets the thigh bone and inject some kind of medication. The last one worked like a charm. I truly pray this one does the same. Hope all is good with you. Have a great one.

couple of my aunts have that, I am an auto immune disorder, they are pushing for me to get a wheel chair and I don't want one. I think I am doing good without it. I will that till the end. Hope you get better. take it easy

Internet romances can be dangerous. Falling for someone we never met in real life can be grounds for creepy things such as catfishing. But it is the world we live in, its popular these days with datig apps such as tinder. But like a love you meet in the real world, online loves do not always last, sometimes there are the kinks that cause the realtionships to end. But we have to get through it... perhaps it wasn't meant to last. Sometimes thats easier said than done and as all break ups go, takes time to heal. But you will be okay. I enjoyed reading your poem!

There are clearly dangers in falling for someone we have never met. We only have their word that they are all they claim to be. We cannot even be sure (on the internet) if they are using a true photo of themselves or using a flattering one that is not them at all. It is true that people we actually meet can still deceive us, but it is so much easier for someone on the internet to pull the wool over our eyes! Sadly, this happens, as your sad tale bears witness to.
