Firefly......

A Poem by little thoughts

In the gloomy and dark night

It appears giving off light

Making its way in its own glow

And roam around in the night's shadow

In the dark blanket of night it shines

Like the star that twinkle in the dark sky

those little together lit up the world

and manifest a view that has no words

i stand still and just stare

and enjoy the beautiful show in the open air

it will always stay in my mind's eye

those beautiful 'fireflies'

I really enjoyed the couplets in this, that type of rhyming has always appealed to me.

In the dark blanket of night it shines
Like the star that twinkle in the dark sky

This was my favorite stanza, I loved the imagery you gave throughout the entire poem.
