That's not a bad way to juxtapose the natural barrier keeping matter of any weight from reaching the speed of light with that of human nature. I like to cheat at video games, but some things you just can cheat on. Reality is one of those things.

On a journey to nowhere. Never reaching the destination, but always setting out with good intentions. That's kinda how I understood this. Thought process maybe?

Kind of about two things... one is the expansion of the universe and how at a certain point galaxies will be so far away from each other that even the light they emit would never be able to reach any other galaxy because the speed of light is finite but the expansion of the universe appears to be infinite and accelerating (hubble's law)... the second thing has to do with anything that has mass never being able to travel at the speed of light due to the energy-mass equivalence (e=mc2) i.e. the amount of energy required to accelerate matter to those speeds makes them heavier and heavier (energy=mass) constantly requiring more and more energy. You could consume all the energy in the universe and you would still never reach the speed of light. It's kinda like nature has built in speed limiter; one of the products of that limitation is the very concept of time. If any kind of mass could travel faster than the speed of light causality would be arbitrary and time travel would be possible, however, time wouldn't really exist so the time travel conversation would be irrelevant.
