Always At Some Point In Time Eventually

Always At Some Point In Time Eventually

A Poem by Davidgeo
"

.

"
at some point in time
the devil always gets his due
because morality is relative
at some points in time
and every once in a while
we all do go a little mad
because no one is perfect
every once and a while
always in time eventually
everyone of us gets to die anyway
because everything ends none the less
always in time and eventually
at some point
in time
we all get what's due
we all find the same ends
at some point
in time
always eventually
every single thing
   turns into black

Oh, well, I hadn’t read anything sobering in a while and it was kind of getting too surreal around here, so I came looking ;)

This is one way of looking at life. The inevitable (death) is always at the back of one’s mind. What’s unexpected is the f**k ups and the deceit that happen, in life, real time, always in time and eventually. You got me there, mate.

Thanks. This was a fine read, indeed.

I like how you wrapped your stanzas with the repeating lines. That was pretty neat. A different look at mortality. An inevitable end. Nice piece.

Ah, that's more like it.
Our demons do collect our debts and our does we owe, and yes, we all are to die someday. I do have to ask; what shade of black will we see at the end?

This poem speaks the truth. Everything does end eventually. I liked the last two lines and the imagery that everything will turn to blackness. Nicely done!

That's good to hear. I usually speak lies.

I'm glad you liked it.
Love Amy Winehouse, great track. Have to agree with you. None of us know when our time is going to be up, but we are all going to die. There's a sobering thought.
