Paws to Hands

from the audacity to hunt ingeniously

one from many, brain to brain

came the capacity to kill at a distance

from the ability to think over time

came the imagination to be more than subsistence 

rock thrower
cave painter
spear chucker
food cooker
arrow hunter
group thinker
gun fighter
idea miner

from weak creatures 

technique defeats beasts

and from an old monkey's thoughts
thrown very far accross time

learned and passed on

and on and on. . .
long live the homo sapiens!
