Do It Right

Do It Right

A Poem by David george

hurt is not hurt

my doll it is learning

when you don't die

in the end

when you survive

but alive. . .

i hate that i hate

and that i owe her the world

but i can't give her a thing

because i live in this dark

and she is nothing but light

and i am this thing...

I hate poetry. I don't understand what the aim is "to be poetic". "Look at me, I'm so profound. How profound am I? I'm so profound that I'm not profound, I'm some quality that has not yet a name like a degree of profundity that is so severe it forms a paradox to destroy itself." I prefer songs. Honesty is important, but brace yourself.
