Anger indeed can turn to and inferno that freezes the heart and mind over time and eventually it hardens into something that isn’t easy to thaw. We need to let go of angry if only for self preservation and release from the weight of it

Anger sucks. I'd rather be spit on than be angry. A book called The Stranger that strangely and absurdly illustrated this point to me several times over the years. In the face of indifference, even if in the midst of great tragedy, it is better to be happy whenever you can. Maybe that's one of the "secrets" to life; finding happiness in the misery might be one of the finer qualities. I prefer, not misery though. I don't need to know those kinds of secrets.

Anger is so destructive. In my opinion it needs to be tamed. Unchecked it can cause havoc. I have never lived with the fire of anger burning in my belly. Your poem makes me pause and imagine what that would be like. It makes me shiver.

One of the reasons I write about personality disorder is so people might avoid the people that cause that kind of anger. Emotional abuse comes in so many forms. It can de center and at times even ruin a person. This kind of rumination can be particularly soul crushing. It does not have to be anger based... it get's pretty weird amongst the weird people.

An ice age of dysfunctional behavior is what I like to call it. Anger driven delusion, manipulation and generally bad behavior is what most people call it. It's good to "see" you John. Thank you for stopping by, I consider it a privelage.
