Degen Occasionally

failure defines character. remember

encoding failures

under abnormal maintenance

poorly formed ethics

disturbing circumstance 

lived, stored

moved and removed 

over time 

again, one more time

totally recalled

remember remember

  elaborate rehearsals 

from insufficient cues

over increasing time

creating new memories

from old

and always eventually 

into current behavior

sometimes adaptative 

 

it is the way to our character

I totally agree with the profound enlightened message of this poem. We are the sum of the choices we make in life. In our constant evolution we grow to be just better human beings by our mistakes or missed opportunities. In the reflections of the past. They build our character.
