Thorns Hidden By Beauty

Thorns Hidden By Beauty

A Poem by Gregory Stires

A rose of crimson red,
It's beauty mesmerizes all,
A symbol of love,
But beware looks can be deceitful,
For beauty can ensnare us
And love can hurt us,
So beware before you touch a rose
Because thee may be beautiful
But behind that beauty is its deadly thorns.

Very insightful and true. Every love has its pains, it's a matter of which out weighs the other. Well written :
