And all i could do was stand there.

And all i could do was stand there.

A Poem by Madeleine Poisson

His goodbye began

with a kiss on the lips,

something i had never before

had the honor of enjoying.

But he turned back to me

after that

Pulled down my right sleeve

Then my left

All so nonchalantly

And all i could do was stand there.

He used just one finger

to pull down my shirt

tracing a nail

down my chest

And then he left

without another word

He turned

and was gone

And all i could do was stand there.

Good poem. The reader could conclude many thoughts of the one standing there. Mine would be... And thus I did not partake of sin.

SENSUALITY WITHIN THE WRITE OF THIS VERSE...THE WAY YOU CONVEY THE WORDS TO THE READERS...AND THE END LINES SEAL THIS TITLE: And all I could do was stand there...
