Ralf and his Octagonal Fish.

Ralf and his Octagonal Fish.

A Poem by little ken
"

The fish had several sides. It was a mystery how many there were, (unless you counted them).

"
Ralf and his Octagonal Fish.
Ralf had a fish,
he had borrowed it
from the library.
But
when he stamped the library card
it was quite a shock
to the fish,
fish was somewhat angered.
and
he said so
in no uncertain terms.
Ralph was crest fallen.
He never got over it.

"He never got over it" really makes this piece something lasting. Some excellent small-form surrealism. But not so surreal that it makes no sense.

I love poems like this! This makes perfect sense to me (I don't know what these other guys are talking about). I love the little story and the pictures this piece shares. It made me smile. Thank you for letting me read your work.

What the does this mean? Like I lost IQ points reading this. I have never seen something so random and irrelevant in my entire life. AND I HAVE 2 YOUNGER SIBLINGS WHO COULDN'T TALK FOR SEVERAL YEARS. This poem makes me question how many people have a IQ of over 60.

What a very strange poem. I'm not really sure how to take it. What does it mean? Does it mean anything at all? Even if it doesn't, it certainly puts me on my guard next time I want to borrow a fish from my library....
