Wind Of My Wings (OLD ENGLISH)

Wind Of My Wings (OLD ENGLISH)

A Poem by shanise
"

I put it in my best old english, I failed miserably, so please excuse the missed words!

"

thou are the wind beneath my wings,

the thought of thou maketh me soar.

A sense of freedom overcomes my veins,

sending liquid fire,

pounding as lead through my body,

I liftest my head unto the fair blue sky,

and scream my loyalty to the wold.

I am invincible.

as long as thou standest by me,

I will always be unbeatable.

I will soar towards the sun,

and bathe in the golden light

that sets my body to flame.

But always,

I will be chained to this world,

thy love acting as an anchor,

I will never leave,

nor willingly be freed,

for thou art the wind beneath my wings,

giving me the power it fly!

This adorable with its old englishyness. But beyond that it is a wonderful discription of love. You have writen a very good poem I must say. Oh and you spelled world wrong in line seven. Not that your old english buddies would have cared.
