COVID CHRISTMAS (CHRISTMAS WITHOUT YOU)

am sorry i forgot to post some poem here recently so i just copied pasted one of my poem here- A.K

A shed of tears gathers around
Remembering the old times
when we all used to laugh with joy

I look towards the sky,
Once again thinking, if we could go back
to the time when we used to hold hands

A cold breeze flow towards me, thinking if it was really you
I look at the sky once again to find it covered in clouds
and not just you

The cold snowflakes touched my cheeks
It was as icy as temperature below -10
but what's the use when I can never see you again

I admit we fought
I admit I wasn't careful enough
I admit you did your best
still fate took you away
but still I hope it was me and not you
at this end

I look towards the sky to find a star
then close my eyes and leave with a smile
thinking its again another Christmas without you and me together
