We wonder about the future
We wonder what's for dinner

We wonder why we wonder
We really like to wonder

We wonder about our selves
We wonder about books on our shelves

We wonder and we wonder
We really like to wonder

But why do we wonder?
Why do we care what's for dinner?

Who cares about the future?
Why not let go of the suture;
The one that holds us in together?

But we still wonder
We really can't help but wonder
