A Poem by L Lopez

A type of people sees nothing changed

Every and all conditions have remained

At one moment they fought and struggled

But now nothing is worth being juggled

The burden of skin that is brown

Sure has left you with a frown,

All teary eyed with you facing down,

Like you was wearing a thorn crown.

It looks like nothing can be done

They’ve left me with no more fun,

Just their words which weigh a ton

Saying over again that they have won

Learn that imagination is the key.

You understand? It’s setting us free.

Flying into any flower like a bee

Going in and out like the sea

Things have and will remain the same

They’ve pushed us down with no shame

Fucked us like pawns in any game

There’s no making them regret they came.

Yo just chill man, sit and relax

There still aren’t any set true facts

The world is just full of quacks

Including you, me, and your buddy Max
