Dos

Dos

A Poem by L Lopez

Two heads are better than one,

Except when they are colliding,

Then nothing seems to get done,

Only achievement of fighting.

A job we aren’t completing,

Work growing large to a ton,

The tasks be multiplying,

They are threatening like a gun.

No longer feeling any fun,

To escape I am longing,

Outside help there is none,

No more hope, just crying.

My emotions need explaining,

It’s time I no longer run,

I’ve got to stop blaming,

For now no one has won.

The guiding light is the sun,

From heat can come learning,

Understanding is sure to come,

The pages will keep turning.
