"Morning Glory, It's Noontime."

"Morning Glory, It's Noontime."

A Poem by lizc0123

Like a sharp and sudden breeze,

I'll make you chatter at the knees.

The lily pads are hoppin',

While the frogs do all the bobbin'.

I can shake you from your sleep,

But I cannot make you see.

The flowers are in bloom,

But they'll tuck in bed at noon.

I was fond of you too long,

What's it you've been waiting on?

The trees have dropped their fruit,

Now beneath them lies my loot.
