I Dreamed that you Dreamed Too

When two become one in the subconscious as well as conscious

I Dreamed that you Dreamed Too

 

I dreamed that 

you and I

moved mountains of each other

walked on waters of love

did it for ourselves

and consecrated it through our god above.

 

I dreamed that

you and I

built a house of rock

a melding of souls

cheribums sang about it

it sounded like the release of a thousand doves.

 

I dreamed that you let go

that your vulnerability became trust

that you were proudest of the man I became

and we found the beauty of our lust.

 

I dreamed that 

you and I slept astride

arms and legs intertwined

that our bed was in our home

that our bed was feather lined.

 

Today is the now,

I see you and understand

I trust you and now 

I stand naked, in front of you, unashamed

hoping that you dreamed of you and I 

and the dream was same.
