A Poem by Kelly

My dearest heart,

Wake up and realize you are

Always falling for the wrong one,

Always dreaming of the way things should be,

Never feeling what is really there to be felt.

My child love should never be feard,

Never cause you any pain,

Should always be cherished

And seen deep in your eyes.

Yes, there is a cost to being in love,

Always taking a chance of getting hurt.

Altho pain comes in many forms,

The heart is first affected then

You feel everything inside you

Just fall apart as if it were crashing down.

As if heaven were to fall to earth.

Your heart sinks to your stomach

And all thats left for you to feel is Pain.

dEAR pOET,

You are right, entirely, from what I know, and I know nothing and everything and then nothing again, all at once.
LOVE should never cause pain, but it does, and must sometimes, however unplanned, for two to get through, to be one.
From what I do know, if love is feared, that fear itself is the only hurt.
Without taking a chance, there is no chance.
None.

Great write!
(makes the mind think and the heart flutter)
