The only game we know

Fearmongering is the constitution

                         Disgusting conversation spewed incessantly

Arrogantly, obsessively

Without compassion,  hesitancy, or dignity

US vs THEM

It’s a game the powerful run

Creatin' that layer of distance

We not like them

They’re not like us

Scare us into playing into their hands

In this game

No one knows what happens after we win

If victory will ever come

Few of us have stopped to even contemplate  

Just Keep Playin' on Playin' on

Hoping the answer will come with the victory

But what only the powerful know

Is that in the game of hate
