Hooked On You.

Hooked On You.

A Poem by lois
"

I can't get enough of him, nor he, I. It's lust, not love and he's bad for me.

"

I want to sleep without dreaming
And wake without thoughts of you.
The taste of you on my lips.

Just one more fix
My spirit crushed
Yet I breathe in your smell
My body craves your touch
Just one more fix
My spirit crushed.

One more fix
It will never be enough .

I'm an addict, a user
Or
Are you using me?
Does it matter, when we misconstrue reality?

My mind consumed with thoughts of you
Oblivion....a place I cling to
Transfixed by you,
I want to be

I want to sleep and dream of you
Wake up where the world smells new
Our spirits free,
And you come to me.

lol ok Michael, I'm new to this so I'm still getting my head around things but I will eventually. I could spend all day reading what everyone else has written. I came across WritersCafe by accident, a happy accident. :-)

You have an effortless way of writing, I'm eager for you to transfer more poems from your blog on to here, so I can shuffle for the rubies and diamonds xD

A little bit about me....I can no longer swing my legs back and forth when I sit on a chair at the kitchen table. I don't have to eat my vegetables, but I do because I love vegetables. I don't have to.. more..
