Something of her smile eased me of my pain , for some reason she raced across my brain ,my heart being the finish line but somewhere along the way she strayed from the path ,I often wonder if my coldness pushed her away ,maybe if I emitted heat she would stay ,I admire her greatly and I often wonder why ,perhaps its the soul in the poetry she writes , perhaps its the way she dances freely at night , perhaps it's the pain she holds that makes her my type ,I can't put my finger on it but it's something about her , I tried to forget about her when I saw her with other men ,I thought I could forget her but I remeber when I pick up the pen, are we ever meant to be I truly wonder ,my brother advised me to get through the storm you must embrace the thunder ,he said if I truly desire her I must tell her I admire her ,rejection is what I fear most , what if the feelings aren't reciprocated could my heart handle being shattered again ? I believe she completes me and I complete her , but if she dosent feel the same will I be lost in another alcoholic blur ? I feel too afraid too take this chance ,but I see an image of us in every couple holding hands , I wish to make the other half on a couple , if it will bring me joy I will gladly embrace the trouble, to me she's a diamond in the rough and to her I'm simply rubble , something about her gives me hope but also makes me feel broke , though the destruction is not by her doing , I see all my friends finding love and I wonder why im alone , I see my friends with their partners while I'm staring at my phone , the universe told me she is the one , but the universe has told me I have much more work to be done ,something about breaks me from my robotics ,something about her is just so hypnotic , something about her makes he feel great ,something about her has me waiting til the date ,that she realizes we are a perfect pairing ,something about her has my soul staring ,something about her brought me out my block ,if time will tell I will be waiting by the clock , for the hands of time to shift ,something about her gives him a reason to live
