Disappear

Disappear

A Poem by look.both.ways

Black tears sink down my skin.

Hands all over me,

I am drowning within.

I don't want to disappear,

But I can't face the sin.

Slowly I let go,

deeper into the darkness.

Every time you see me,

I'm less and less.

I don't want to disappear,

But I've failed every test.

I'm falling further away,

Keep me as yours.

If I stay another day,

Will you fight all my wars?

I don't want to disappear,

Keep me I'm yours.

You feel less of me.

Wearing down.

You're fighting for me.

Afraid I might drown.

Calling for me.

The darkness, it pulls.

I don't want to disappear,

I long to be free.
