the sequel...

the sequel...

A Poem by Brad
"

an vision of otherworldly events...

"

another world

another time

another place

having kept our memories

through our transcendental shift

we would find one another

and give each other

what the other needs

I wouldn’t be so jaded a man

So wrecked a soul

Perhaps my smile would be wider

And more permanent

And maybe I’d have more kids

So I’ll check my watch

Set my clock

And count down the minutes

To the next life

The new show

Where everything is clean

And the people applause…

I would be lying if I said I never had this same thought. I find myself always wondering what life would be like if i did this or that, or if I didn't do this. or that. I also find myself wondering what i would do with myself in the next life, if i will have a chance to find the people i know now, or maybe it is a sequel, a life after this one influenced the world....guess I need to start influencing.

Great read, and write. I applaud this life.

My word. I fell in love with this instantly. I think we ALL feel like that deep down inside. That's just God trying to speak to us.
Follow your heart(consciousness) not your mind(instinct).

Sometimes I wonder these very things. If I had the life knowledge of now, and the youth of then...I think I might have done a few things differently. You've penned these emotions very well:) x

Wouldn't it be great if we could start our lives over sometimes? Make everything you have done wrong right? You made me stop and think about my life and what I would like to change. Nice job!

first i like the "art " of using right justification in the format , then how you guide our imaginations to that parallel universe that is measured in if only's and maybe's and in that , give us that bit of clarity , that focus on what we have left , and what we may have in store .

Some believe it works like that, and that we get to come back and try again. My son, Stephen, said someone who believed that way told him he had a "very old soul". I don't know, but it's interesting to think about.
