rain.

rain.

A Poem by lostnstars

His teardrops were raindrops on her umbrella

Drifting off to the damp road with a lone,

He cried headed back home with a crowd, she smiled

Smiling, admiring her garden of daisies

Crying, getting hurt from his roses' thorns

All umbrellas gone, pouring gray storms

Storming, it rained all day she wondered

Thorns and petals, he’s healing from thirst

Daisies got rained, once happiness got messy

Messy bed and mind, he hummed to sleep

Thirsty and gone daisy petals and she’s hurting

Wondering how alluring the rainbow is, he looked

Looking at a lifeless rainbow, she finally understood

Hurting to calming to accepting, he finally understood

Sleepless nights, both still exchange “I miss you”

A sad journey to learning and understanding in the poetry. Good to seek place and time to gather life and mind. A honest ending to a excellent poem.

I really love this poem. I abhor breakups, especially breakups where the two are still "missing" each other... why the hell did they break up then? I love your poem cuz its made by you, ez.
