Quick note, which may or may not be relevant. but blonde is used for women, and blond for men; it is one of those odd words which inherited gendered forms from French. (Don't know if the 'you' is male or female). Of course no one makes us do any of these things; but it often feels impossible to resist them. Sometimes it feels like the person is doing it on purpose, intended only for us, which makes finding out that the affections are not mutual... all the more unpleasant. Simple, but thanks to the way you formatted this one, it was still an interesting read.
