Live Again

By Rhonda Adamson, copyright 2008

An author lived, named Robert Louis Stevenson.

He read his new manuscript to Fannie, his wife.

It's a story of drugs, murder and hidden sin.

The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

"It's a story; but it could be allegory,"

said she.  So Robert rewrote the horror story.

He tossed the defective book in the fire.

He started again, detailing Mr. Hyde's sin,

Little sins that grew and made him a liar.

If only we could rise above sin's den,

Repent, walk in truth, and then - live again!
