Carry this broken soul
I have been defeated
And everything I am
With everything I am
Sinks further from this life

Take these shattered pieces
Shards of my tears
Hold my heart in your hands
Squeeze the life out of me

Falling, for I am broken
Trying, for a token of your affection

I am humbled and alone
Frightened and disowned
I have been defeated
