Falling In Love (at the coffee shop)

Falling In Love (at the coffee shop)

A Poem by Sabrina Claridge

the loud chatter muses
in a stream of mist
as random indie music
churns together the
delicate experience
of waiting in line
(at the coffee shop)
i never thought i
would find love
(at the coffee shop)
but when the beautiful
barista sighs into her
work load i can only
spill my medium drip
and hope she
notices

This actually happened. I saw this girl working at the coffee house I go to. I accidentally spilled my drink and she helped me clean it up. I never spoke to her again, sadly.

Love is a strange, strange force in the human heart, isn't it?

It feels a bit unfinished. Other than that very good. It's kinda cute how that actually happened. You should really talk to her. Maybe a spark of fire will light up. You may never know until you try. :)
