wish

i wish that i was skinnier

that i had brunette hair instead of black

i wish that people didn't judge me

and when i trust them, turn their back

 

i wish the world WAS a small place

and people were accepted everywhere

that you could ride in any part of town

and not worry about a person's stare

maybe if the world was perfect we'd all be happy

maybe if people didnt die so often

or leave so soon  

we'd all have someone to call on

but the world isn't small

and im not perfect

but i dont complain

when somethings not correct

when the days end and im in bed

i look up and think about you

and i know it wont be too long

before i can see you
