Faith and Belief

Faith and Belief

A Poem by Holy Gma
"

A poem about the difference between faith and belief.

"
Relying on words to express ourselves
has always been imprecise.
When I feel you're invading my privacy,
You think You're just giving advice.

Many things are hard to put into words,
some more important than others.
It is easy to describe a colorful sunrise,
not so our love for another.

Words can not be  interchanged
Judt because they are synonyms.
Their own connotation, sets them apart,
makes them as different as twins.

So can faith and belief be interchanged?
Are they different or one and the same?
And what difference can it possibly make,
If a rose is a rose regardless of name?

Belief is the offspring of
knowledge,
Explaination of that
which we've seen.
Whereas, faith is a sacred certainty
of that which remains unseen.

So while changing beliefs can change our thoughts,
only faith can change our behavior.
We can know the prophet if we simply believe.
But only with faith can we know the Savior.
