Once Again

Once Again

A Poem by luciddreamer

Once again, she's tired

the news, the family, the angles

to get to her soul,

addiction kills us all

in the end

Once again, shes lonely

the heart locked away

here, she cries,  as she

carlously throws the key

she needs to make someone feel better

Once again,  she sleeps

and dreams of apocalypse days

that makes her heart speed

and her feet twitch

Once again, she gives

away parts of herself

hoping they were the right ones to recycle

knowing one day they will re-appear

Once again, she cries

for the lost souls

who don't even notice

the beauty and the beast

that surrounds them

Once Again

Once again, you have captured my attention and held it steadfast..
Favorite verse..
Once again, she gives
away parts of herself
hoping there we the right ones to recycle
knowing one they will reappear..

The image this evokes is fantastic..
to give the heart away, and allow it to be recycled
and given back..
WOW!
