My heart's demise

My heart's demise

A Poem by desolated_being

I look at you and this is what I see;
Immeasurable beauty created by God's design,
Imperfect perfection, the only kind I need
I admire your intelligence, your humour, your style
I envy them aswell
On the literal side of things;
I see your white teeth and how they form your smile
I see eyes that sparkle, that light up and ignite
I see you, the you that hides inside
I see me; I feel how happy you could make me feel
I see me; I see all of me inside of you
Smile, smile again once more
Speak; speak up and let me hear that voice of yours
Music to my ears
Sing; sing that sweet lullaby of ours
Cry, rest your head on my shoulders, cry
Silence, silence lies between you and I
Sounds of two hearts shattered, two hearts that died
Sounds of two broken hearted souls who cry
In the midst of all the silence is where the true hurt lies
In the midst of all the lies, I've come to realise
Our hearts aren't ment to be together
Our souls need to part
You go your way and I'll go mine
If only in the future I knew you'd be mine
