Internal Path

Poem about a spiritual journey

Do I owe the world consolation as I make my way down an internal path?
Do I have to have to help others understand in order to avoid misunderstandings and perhaps wrath?
I must move forward without feeling a need to explain though leaving myself to be possibly emotionally maimed.
Or perhaps if I continue on this path I can become invulnerable to being blamed.
I must move forward or die.
I must reach the sky.
