Tell me why

Tell me why

A Poem by lumberjack

Through the cracks of the window, sun rays peeks

stifling a yawn,the c**k screams

Canary sky is splashed with the clouds

the lost cuckoo is searching, her mother's whereabouts

Dawn is at the door, asking to switch off your alarm

morning sun hovering at you, feeling thy warm

Morning breeze right there ,to brush away your dreams

silence among the trees, leaves still  asleep it seems.

Departure of the day dragging arrival of the night

admist all the scattered stars, the moon shone so bright.
