when minds wander

Over the summer
my mind went a flutter
of how you may have changed too.

over the course of three months
we're hardly still runts
oh, how I wish you grew!

If just a bit taller,
and not still so smaller,
I've so often thought this through.

but I guess it wont matter,
as long as you flatter,
my heart will be given to you

I can remember that time of life. The time when we were growing and changing, and three months seemed an eternity to be away from that person you admired. Yes, you certainly have caught the flighty emotions and thoughts of those long summer days in this poem. I certainly brought back the memories for me! Nice work! :-)

Aw, that had a sweet ring to it and the rhyming was nice. I liked the whole bit it was, don't take this the worng way, childish in a way, but that doesn't mean its bad. It just shows basic love and how much you do love this person.
