Death's Kiss

Death's Kiss

A Poem by Mary

Dirty pins in my eye

Hurts so bad I want to cry.

Should I try and take them out?

Teetering on the brink of doubt.

Not so sure what I should do.

Would you like to hurt me too?

All it takes is one thought

As simple as tying a knot.

My life in your hands

I will follow all your commands.

So what is it you want?

No need to put up a front.

Your lips move.

A sudden change in attitude.

A smile on your face

Steely metal embrace

A revolver to my head

All I feel is dread.

Your response

Complete nonchalance.

A flick of the wrist

Death’s Kiss.
