Persistant Glass Walls

Persistant Glass Walls

A Poem by heSTOLEmyHEARTandIdidn'tKNOWit

My persistent glass walls hold me in a cage
They won’t let me out; they fuel my rage.
The rage that drives me closer to
What few people can see, the unblinded truth.
I want someone to attest to my finds
That cuts my skin and freezes my mind.
The burning sensation I long to share,
With that one special person, the one who really cares.
But the sensation burns my heart
and makes it feel as if it could burst.
Oh god the pain, oh god it hurts.
I’m going blind but somehow can now see.
All the things no one was meant to see.
I see your thoughts all your attentions bad and good,
Your hearts true love, the girl of your world
But you won’t hear the truths I long to speak,
For my persistent glass walls keep everyone from me
