A CHURCH

A CHURCH

A Poem by lua
"

according to a buddhist

"

sitting in silence I am welcomed

home

to the house of an owner I do not

believe exists

yet

I am a guest

embraced like any other

with open arms that

hold me

with comfort and tranquillity

I am warm under a roof cold with

unanswered prayers

empty souls that can’t let go

let go of the deafening

hope

so strong

it could break open the walls

of the house of

unspoken faith that everything

will work out

a destiny promised to any

stranger,

guest,

resident

that walks though

these doors

i find this very interesting...i had an atheist friend...amazing person...christian in every sense, but the belief...and i always picture him in the end being quite welcomed to that place, wherever and whatever it is.
