Darkness in Light

Darkness vs. Light,

the people who bite, 

and kill in cold blood with no mercy,

in Paris, engulfing the light of the city.

Who is the cause of this?

Who would destroy so many people's bliss?

In the City of Light,

the French will not give up without a fight,

to defend their families and people,

their determination as strong as a thick diamond pole.

The terrorists, no matter who they are,

Paris will track them down even from far,

sentencing them to prison in their rightful place,

Of perseverance and faith France will be the face.

Author's Note

Poor Paris, the City of Light, versus the darkness of Terrorism. I hope for the best and condolences in Paris. I do hope that they catch and kill those stupid terrorists. Why would someone kill someone else, without so much as a blink? Please, pray with me for the capture of the bad people, and for teh families who have lost some.

A powerful and sadly vivid poem. Your words truly bleed from the screen, lydie. Living across the English Channel we see and read up to date news of what's happened and is happening in Paris, in France. Tis a tragedy brought so close to home.
